Fingerspelling is something we all constantly see as a challenge whether expressively or receptively. What is our responsibility as interpreters, and when do we fingerspell and make sure we clarify whenever necessary to make sure we render the message faithfully? Also, the dreaded acronyms and how to approach the interpretations when they are used as words versus letters. This course further discusses when to spell the words out or use the acronyms and the techniques with our hand movements. We will review numbers and how to sign them correctly.
